A cooperative preschool is organized and administered by the parents and is operated under the direction of trained teachers. Its success depends on the collaborative efforts of all members. A co-op operates most effectively when parents and the teachers pool their efforts and resources to the best advantage of the children. Parents and teachers work together to teach to (or meet) the developmental needs of each child.
Our Programs
Parents Nursery School offers parents an opportunity to learn about parenting issues and to actively participate in their child's education. We offer part-time, play-based preschool programs for children ages 3-5 and their families. Children must turn three years old by December 31st of the school year he/she is enrolled. The fours program is reserved for children who will be heading to kindergarten or Young 5s.
We currently have open spots available in our 3-4's (3-day per week) classes for the 2011-2012 school year! Please contact our registrar for more information.
